A healthy city is a matter of sustainable environment and about collaboration and interaction between citizens. Citizens are the ones that come up with new ideas and initiatives to make their city more liveable, healthy and sustainable. After all, they know what they like, what works and how they envision the future for their home, street, neighbourhood, and perhaps even the entire city. How can we create more interaction between citizens? The built environment also has a broad spectrum of impacts on our cities. It has the largest single share in global resource use and pollution emission. Achieving a sustainable built environment involves designing, building and operating structures that meet and exceed our expectations.
